Charles began serving at Trinity by working with children and youth before transitioning into his current role as Director of Church Operations & Technology. In this position, he oversees the day-to-day functions that keep the church running smoothly, while also managing the technical needs for services, events, and ministry activities. His background includes property management and other roles that have equipped him to handle a wide range of responsibilities. Charles is dedicated to ensuring that both the behind-the-scenes operations and the technical aspects of ministry support Trinity’s mission and vision.

Charles was born and raised in Commerce, Georgia. He began attending church as a teenager at the prompting of his grandparents. Charles was heavily involved in Boy Scouts, achieving his Eagle Scout award and also working as a camp counselor. The many skills Charles learned as a scout helped mold his life, as well as a few camp leaders who were true examples and models of Christ in Charles's life. It was the work of the Holy Spirit, through the church and people whom God placed in Charles' life, that began to work on his heart and help him come to truly know Christ as his Lord and Savior in his early 20s. Charles married the love of his life, Casey Caudell, in May of 1998. Together, they have two beautiful daughters, Kaylee and Hannah.

Charles has held many volunteer positions with both children and teens in communities and churches over the years. The Lord called Charles and his family to The Joy House, a ministry for teens in crisis, in 2011. Charles and his family began attending Trinity in 2011 and have been serving in some capacity since then.
