Summer is over and fall is here, so of course we’re all consuming as many pumpkin flavored delectables as possible before the winter season and all things peppermint take over! And with the change of seasons, we are wanting to get back to studying God’s Word together.
We will be opening the Old Testament and looking at Elijah. What a great lesson in realizing that God’s love for His people crosses all barriers.
Male/female...God is working.
Ancient time/modern time...God is working.
Prophet/lay woman...God is working.
Are you tired? Elijah was.
Are you sometimes lonely? Elijah was very often lonely.
Does God seem silent? Tracking with Elijah here too.
So, let’s join together with our Trinity sisters (friends and neighbors are welcome too) and learn to trust that God will meet us wherever we are. He will come to us in our darkness as He did Elijah. He will gift us with “strength of faith, character, and boldness that can only be shaped in the hidden fires of silence, sameness, solitude, and adversity.”
There are several ways to be part of our study. Please examine the options and click the link below to register.
