Mentoring Retreat

Men's Retreat - 2026

Join us for our Men’s Retreat on March 20-21, a focused and encouraging time designed to help men navigate one of the most challenging and meaningful callings we have—fatherhood that doesn’t end when childhood does. Parenting changes when kids grow up, but it doesn’t stop. Whether your adult child lives at home, lives far away, or barely stays in contact, your heart and influence still matter. This retreat will help you think clearly and biblically about boundaries, guidance, relationships, and legacy in every season of fatherhood.

We will begin on Friday evening, March 20, beginning at 5:45 pm, in the Church Youth Room with a social meal and discussion about our Men’s Ministry and activities ahead. On Saturday, March 21, beginning at 8:45, we’ll engage in a seminar-style experience using RightNow Media videos featuring parenting expert Jim Burns and his resource Doing Life with Your Adult Children

Each attendee will receive one of his books. The content will be delivered in three short sessions, followed by facilitated panel discussions led by Dave Jones, where seasoned Christian men will respond to practical, real-life questions. Topics include helping vs. enabling, financial and relational boundaries, faith differences, adult children moving back home, and how to leave a lasting legacy.

While this retreat is especially for men with adult children, fathers of younger kids—and all men—will gain wisdom worth passing on, because mentoring never stops and neither does the calling to lead well.
