"A Man on a mission."  That’s how Mark presents Jesus in his fast-paced Gospel account.  But what was that mission?  Why does Mark skip the birth narrative and jump straight into Jesus’ ministry years?  Why does Mark refer to Jesus as the “Son of Man” and why does Jesus refer to Himself as a “Servant?”  And in what way was Jesus the “ransom?"  We hope you will join us beginning Sunday, September 8 as we launch into the fascinating story of Jesus, written by John Mark and written for Gentiles, just like us.
